Our work with electro-hydraulic steering for the shuttle car has lead us to develop a remote control for it. This platform will allow us to develop a camera system augmented with object recognition and image manipulation to provide much better situational awareness than a traditional camera system. The natural progression from there is to develop autonomous software for the shuttle car. Along the way, our software team developed a program to improve collection and management of examinations required by law for mining operations.
Avoid mechanical steering linkage that is prone to breaking. Our Electro-Hydraulic Steering system controls all four wheels with easy to access components and provides hydraulic relief instead of mechanical breakage.
Improve situational awareness of the operator through the use of cameras with Object recognition and advanced image processing.
Our prototype is controlled remotely via trailing cable communications from a custom built, portable remote control console.
Our remote control prototype is being used to develop the software to control the car autonomously.
As a result of our work with remote control mining equipment, we now offer powerline network communications modems for use on underground power cables.
Our in-house software engineer allows us to offer custom software. Exam Manager is used for data collection and management in the mining environment.
